NBA Twitter is stoked on Russell Westbrook-John Wall trade

Few things get Twitter going like NBA drama.

When the news involves two of the league’s most polarizing players and two of the worst contracts in basketball, game on.

The Washington Wizards traded John Wall to the Houston Rockets for Russell Westbrook on Wednesday, a deal with more than its fair share of intrigue.

Wide range of thoughts on Westbrook-Wall deal

How will the new Rockets backcourt look featuring Wall alongside James Harden? What about Westbrook and Bradley Beal in Washington? Will Harden keep trying to push his way out of Houston? Will Wall return to form after almost two full seasons lost to injury? What will the Kentucky reunion of Wall and DeMarcus Cousins in Houston look like?

NBA Twitter has thoughts on it all, Cousins included.

Even with a COVID-shortened break, the NBA continues to win the offseason like no other sport.
