NBA player Tristan Thompson has accused his former flame Kimberly Alexander of being a ‘wannabe influencer’ in a counter-lawsuit filed against her.
The libel suit is a counter to Alexander’s previously filed paternity claim, with Thompson adamant a prior paternity test ruled him out as the father of her child - even referencing Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ in his counter-claim.

Thompson was embroiled in a cheating scandal months before his split from Khloe Kardashian in 2019.
The Cleveland Cavaliers champion was accused of hooking up with Jordyn Woods, famed for her friendship with Kardashian’s younger sister Kylie Jenner.
While admitting that he had a brief relationship with Alexander in the lawsuit, which was filed by the star’s lawyer Marty Singer, Thompson is adamant the child is not his.
“Alexander has persisted in publicly proclaiming that Thompson is her child’s father and she has maliciously accused Thompson of being a deadbeat dad, ‘neglecting’ and failing to take financial responsibility for the child since birth,” the lawsuit states.
“To quote Michael Jackson, ‘the kid is not (his) son’.”
Celebrity news outlet TMZ reported a source close to Thompson saying the pair had a one night stand during the Cavaliers centre’s rookie season in 2011-12.
Responding to both this revelation, as well as an earlier cease and desist letter from Thompson, Alexander took to her Instagram to defend herself.
“I’m not hurting for no money loves. I want #truth,” she wrote.
“My mother passed away in 2012 Tristan I didn’t even know you then. If ur gonna come clean come alllll the way clean. (sic)”
Tristan Thompson adamant paternity test was negative
Thompson’s libel suit attempts to paint Alexander as someone looking to exploit the NBA star’s fame and wealth for her own personal gain.
The lawsuit describes Alexander as a ‘wannabe influencer’ out for her 15 minutes of fame.
“(Alexander) is a wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her fifteen minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that NBA star/Cleveland Cavaliers centre/power forward Thompson is the father of her nearly five-year-old son,” the lawsuit states.
Despite his high-profile split from Kardashian last year, Thompson has been spotted numerous times with his former partner during the coronavirus pandemic, which led to the NBA suspending their season.
