Navvis, a leading population health company, today announced that Aman Chawla, MD, has joined Navvis to lead the company’s physician practice optimization program nationwide. Dr. Chawla will serve as medical director and vice president, Enterprise Practice Optimization Program, and she will play a critical role in initiatives to engage, empower, and enable physicians and clinical and administrative practice leaders. Her work will be focused on physician and practice performance, helping physicians perform at top of license to directly impact quality and cost, while delivering an enhanced care experience. In her role at Navvis she will lead initiatives that emphasize the key tenants of value-based care and population health management, ensuring that physicians and their practices have the resources and tools they need to be successful under risk-based contracts.

Dr. Chawla is a healthcare clinician with nearly 20 years of experience in research, operations, and quality and care improvement initiatives. She has a strong background in the creation, implementation, and ongoing management of population health programs that address the complex needs of providers, patients, and care teams. Prior to joining Navvis, Dr. Chawla was medical director, Quality and Clinical Programs at Lumeris. Dr. Chawla earned a Doctor of Medicine from Central America Health Sciences University, and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University. She also earned a Post-Doctorate degree in Molecular Cardiology from The National Institute of Health.
