Naked woman rescued after being trapped between 2 buildings

Rescue crews have saved a naked woman who was stuck between two buildings, though how she got there remains a mystery.

On Tuesday afternoon, Santa Ana Police Department officers were called to two commercial buildings in Santa Ana, California, and found the woman wedged between the two walls, local news station KTLA reported.

Reportedly, the space between the walls was less than a foot wide.

The authorities were called after workers at a nearby business heard cries for help, though they were unsure where the cries were coming from.

Officers then found the woman, wedged between the walls and rescue crews were called to the scene.

Orange County Fire Authority cut through eight inches of concrete to free the woman, who was extracted from the predicament two and a half hours later.

KTLA reported the woman was alert while rescue workers were cutting through the concrete and was communicating with them throughout.

The fire service shared a video on Twitter showing firefighters keeping an eye on the woman while they cut through the wall, adding rescue workers ventilated the area for her.

"After a cautious and technical operation, firefighters have gotten the victim out. Our paramedics will be assessing her now," Orange County Fire Authority tweeted.

The local news station reported the woman was naked and authorities have no idea how or why she ended up between the two buildings.

“That’s a mystery to all of us here right now,” Orange County Fire Authority Captain Thanh Nguyen said.
