Mystery ticket holder scoops $30 million Oz Lotto prize
An unknown ticket holder has won $30 million in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw, but they are yet to claim their prize.
It was the only winning entry in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw, scooping the entire jackpot. The ticket was not registered to a player’s card, so lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner.
Officials say the ticket was purchased at a NSW Lotteries outlet in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and urge people to check their tickets.
“We can’t wait to confirm the out-of-this-world prize with our mystery winner,” NSW Lotteries spokeswoman Bronnie Spencer said.
“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto’s $30 million draw 1282 were 6, 4, 36, 23, 2, 30 and 32. The supplementary numbers were 11 and 27.
The massive win comes after a semi-retired Victorian man won a $4.1 million division one Lotto prize, which was his second division one win on Saturday.
Another South Australian man confessed to “screaming on the inside” after discovering he had become an overnight Lotto millionaire, winning over $1 million in the X Lotto draw on September 3.
