Mystery Oz Lotto winner yet to claim $30 million prize

The country’s newest Oz Lotto multi-millionaire may have been walking around for the past week with a winning ticket in their wallet, but clueless about their newfound riches.

The mystery punter had the only division one winning entry for the $30million Oz Lotto draw on Tuesday last week but their entry was not registered.

Anyone who bought an unregistered ticket from Pacific Square News in the eastern Sydney suburb of Maroubra is now being encouraged to check it – as they might be about to receive some life-changing news.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said they are curious to know why the person has not come forward to claim their prize.

“Winners have told us previously that they find their unclaimed tickets in the most obvious places and just hadn’t thought to check them,” Ms Spencer said.

“They could be walking around with the $30 million winning ticket in their back pocket, their handbag or it could be stuck on the fridge right in front of them.”

The lucky numbers for last Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw 1282 were 6, 4, 36, 23, 2, 30, 32, while 11 and 27 were the supplementary numbers.

“If you discover you’re holding the unregistered $30 million division one Oz Lotto winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so we can start the prize claim process,” Ms Spencer advised.

NSW Lotteries is also urging players to register their tickets to a Players Club card so they can be contacted directly if they are lucky enough to win a life-changing prize.
