Mystery Lotto winner scores $10 million jackpot – could it be you?

A mystery player could be walking around with a $10 million lottery ticket in his or her pocket after winning Tuesday’s Oz Lotto jackpot.

The lucky NSW player was the only division one winner in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw 1474, meaning he or she has scored the entire $10 million prize.

As the ticket is unregistered, lottery officials from The Lott are unable to contact the winner to share the life-changing news.

The winning entry was purchased at West Ryde Marketplace News, so officials are urging all customers of the store to get their Oz Lotto tickets from their wallets, fridge doors and pockets to find out whether they’re the unknown winner.

'Check your tickets'

West Ryde Marketplace News manager Manoj Jindal said the team there is “so excited” to have sold the winning ticket in last night’s draw.

“We’re going to have a staff party today to celebrate, but we really hope the winner comes forward,” he said.

The same store sold a Saturday Lotto division one winning entry last year, but this is the largest jackpot they’ve ever had, according to Mr Jindal.

“We’re waiting with bated breath. There’s a real buzz around the store,” he added.

“We’ve already told anyone that will listen, ‘Check your tickets’ because we know this win is going to change someone’s life.”

During this time, the biggest Oz Lotto jackpot was $50 million, which was shared by a Queensland and Victorian player in November.

Meanwhile, there are more chances to win big with Tuesday’s Oz Lotto offering $3 million, while Thursday’s Powerball has $80 million up for grabs.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $9.89 million for draw 1572 and the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is $13.14 million for draw 10572.
