Mystery after single winner takes out $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot

A search has commenced for the lucky solo winner of Oz Lotto’s whopping $50 million jackpot.

The entire division one prize was won by a single entry, placed by a mystery person living in NSW.

Officials have been unable to contact them with the incredible news because they were not registered to a player card.

The winning numbers were 5, 32, 22, 13, 20, 25 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 23.

The Lott had urged all NSW players who purchased an entry in Tuesday evening’s draw to check their ticket and make contact to claim their prize.

Oz Lotto spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer was eagerly anticipating the winner to come forward.

“Someone has become an overnight mid-week multi-millionaire but possibly doesn't know it yet. We can’t wait for them to discover this winning news. Just imagine how $50 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest,” she said.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.”

Players were urged to register their tickets to a player card so their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a win.

The jackpot skyrocketed to $50 million after the top prize went unclaimed for six consecutive weeks.

The Oz Lotto jackpot was last won in August by an Adelaide man who pocketed $10 million and said it was “weird” to discover he was a millionaire.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed if there is a way for punters can predict a lotto win for themselves.

The next opportunity to enter the running for some free money is in Wednesday Lotto’s $1 million draw, or Thursday’s $3 million Powerball.

Powerball rocketed to a record-breaking $150 million last month.
