Murder investigation after woman's body found near playground


A homicide investigation has been launched after the discovery of a woman’s body near a children’s playground in Sydney.

A council worker discovered the woman’s body at Buffalo Creek Reserve at Hunters Hill, in Sydney’s North Shore, on Wednesday about 7.30am.

A post-mortem will be conducted to determine how the woman died, however investigators are beginning inquiries into the death which is said to be “suspicious”.

The woman is yet to be formally identified.

Anyone with dashcam footage from late Tuesday through to Wednesday morning is being asked to come forward.
