Former Bachelor contestant Alana Wilkie has given birth to a daughter.
The 2010 Miss Universe Australia finalist and her WAFL player fiance Chris Billings welcomed baby girl Alexandria Rose earlier this month.
Wilkie, a legal secretary, was a contestant on Blake Garvey’s season last year before finding love with Billings after she was eliminated from the show.
Just six months later, the couple announced they were expecting a baby with a cute snap of them together at a playground.
“Excited to announce Alana and myself are expecting a baby June 2015. Exciting Times @alanaewilkie #baby #news #mum #dad,” Billings captioned the Instagram post.
In December, the lovebirds revealed they became engaged on a getaway to Bali.
And the proud parents again took to social media to announce the birth of their daughter, sharing adorable photos of the newborn to their profiles.
“So in love with our baby girl Alexandria Rose Billings,” Wilkie wrote alongside an image of the bub swaddled in a blanket.
Billings was initially approached by producers to become last year’s Bachelor but turned down the role, only for Wilkie to be cast as a contestant on the show.
They connected following the 26-year-old’s elimination but were meant to keep things on the down low until her episodes finished airing.
However, Wilkie let the cat out of the bag on the new relationship when she posted a snap of her and Billings kissing on Cottesloe beach to social media while she was still supposedly vying for Garvey’s heart on the show.
