Mum found in bushland after suspected abduction
A mum believed to be the victim of a gunpoint abduction in Central West NSW has been found.
The woman, 41, was found alongside a 44-year-old man in bushland near Blaxlands Ridge, about 20km north of Windsor on Tuesday about 11.30pm.
The 44-year-old man is the third arrested in relation to the incident.
It’s believed the 41-year-old was abducted alongside two teens and their 71-year-old grandmother from an Ootha house near Condobolin, about 460 kilometres west of Sydney.
A 68-year-old man woke up to find the two women and two children missing after being beaten and left for dead with his house set alight.
Police were involved in a pursuit on Tuesday with a state-wide alert in force to find the family.
The grandmother and the two boys were found safe after they were “dropped off” on Putty Road on Tuesday.
The two other men arrested are aged 23 and 29.
It’s expected all three men will be charged.
