Mum finds 23-year-old fitness model in pool of blood at home
A fitness model was found dead in a pool of blood in her Mexico home.
Alondra Getsemani Villasenor, 23, was shot and stabbed in the head by a man who reportedly fled in a red car, according to The Sun.
It is believed she had been dead for more than 24 hours when her worried mum arrived at her Tijuana home, just south of the US border, on November 17 to check on her.
Her mum had been trying to contact the young trainer for several hours.
Two bags of marijuana and a 9mm bullet was found within the home, police said.
An investigation is underway, but no motive has been revealed.
Tijuana has seen a surge in the area’s murder rate as the city battles a violent gang war.
So far this year, 1800 people have been killed.
Last year, a total of 2518 people were murdered, with an estimated 90 per cent link to drug sales.
The entire country has seen more than 14,000 killings this year.
