A mum has died almost a week after her teenage daughter was killed in a horror crash in Queensland’s Darling Downs.
Beverley Harwood, 44, her husband Allan, 48, and their daughter Olivia, 17, were involved in a fatal crash on the Warrego Highway at Oakey last week.
A semi-trailer travelling east along the highway crashed into a ute, also travelling east, at around 9.15am on October 2. The ute then smashed into a sedan carrying the Harwood family.
Olivia died at the scene while her parents were transported to hospitals in Brisbane.
Mrs Harwood died on Monday.
The driver the ute, a 36-year-old man from Oakey, was transported to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi-trailer, a 35-year-old man from Victoria, was not physically injured.
Investigations by the Toowoomba Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
