Mum accused of murdering teen and hiding body under clothes

A mum has been accused of killing her son and hiding his decomposing body under a pile of clothes in her house for more than two months.

Kenya Stallworth was charged with murder and one count of felonious assault on Tuesday (local time) in the US state of Ohio, according to Fox19.

Her son, Dominic Allen, was found dead in early December in a bedroom in the home his mum shared with her husband, Robert Robb, who is not the 19-year-old’s father.

Mr Allen, who is believed to have died in the room he was found, was last seen on September 26.

The cause of death and other related details have not been disclosed.

Court documents allege Stallworth and Robb tried to conceal the 19-year-old's body by piling clothes onto it and sealing the room off to try to conceal odours.

The couple were arrested at the time on charges of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Mr Allen’s dad, Marcus, told Fox19 NOW a police officer, who was at the home when the teen’s body was found, said there were signs the 19-year-old had been tortured.

“The first thing that came to my mind was, ‘What was going through your head when you all did whatever you all did? What happened for all of this to take place like this to the point where you all not only hide him under a pile of dirty clothes, you all sealed him in his bedroom?’” he said.

Marcus said his son was a “wonderful child” who was happy and loved to help everybody.
