MTV VMAs 2020: Miley Cyrus stuns in see-through dress
The MTV VMAs look very different in 2020, with performances taking place across New York City as the coronavirus pandemic continues to change live events as we know them.
Keeping in line with social distancing restrictions, the red carpet was much smaller than ever before, but Miley Cyrus appeared on the reduced carpet in a very daring dress.
The singer wore a sheer sequinned black Mugler dress with a matching black bandeau and underwear seen underneath.
"This outfit is already iconic," one fan wrote.

Miley performed her new single 'Midnight Sky' where she appeared on a disco ball wrecking ball, with one Twitter user writing, "SHE BROKE THE INTERNET."
Lady Gaga kept her red carpet outfit COVID-safe with what looked like a space helmet with a futuristic silver dress.
The singer quipped on Twitter, "I was wearing face shields before it was a thing."
Gaga is nominated in the biggest categories of the night: Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Pop Song, Best Cinematography, Best Video Effects, and Best Choreography for 'Rain on Me', Artist of the Year and Best Quarantine Performance (for 'Smile' from the One World: Together at Home special).
Doja Cat donned a glittering red dress with a plunging neckline and a seriously long braid.
Meanwhile, Machine Gun Kelly rocked hot pink from head to toe.
The Weeknd seemed to be echoing his 'Blinding Lights' video, by wearing the same outfit and even the same makeup, with the singer appearing to have been in a fight with a cut lip, a bleeding nose and two black eyes.
Joey King donned a floral Versace mini-dress, showing off her incredible legs.
Madison Beer also wore a sexy Mugler dress, with a black bodysuit underneath a sheer skirt.
Nicole Richie donned a bright green Cong Tri mini dress which featured a long train.
Bebe Rexha donned a black jacket with a plunging neckline with black bike shorts.
Actress Sofia Carson brought the drama in a red floor-length dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.
Bella Hadid gave Miley Cyrus a run for her money with her somewhat unusual risqué outfit.
