Mother and grandfather 'in vicious brawl at kids’ soccer match'
A Sydney mother has faced court charged with assault after a vicious brawl erupted between parents on the sidelines of a kids’ soccer match.
The shocking video includes a man appearing to punch the mother in the face.
As children watched their friends play junior soccer from the stands at 9am on Sunday, their view was obstructed by fighting adults.
Parents can be seen grabbing their children and ushering them to safety, with one child calling out, “Oh, stop!”.
The fight wasn’t over the soccer game – it was allegedly an incident of domestic violence, with a woman set upon by her ex-partner’s family.
She allegedly lashes out first before a man appears to have the final say with two punches.
As the brawl continues a woman can be heard shouting, “You idiots! Shame on you!”.
Police have charged both the woman and her former father-in-law Mile Dimovski with assault and affray.

The children in the video weren’t the only ones that witnessed the brawl.
Hundreds of children from across Sydney had gathered at Linden Sports Centre as the ground played host to a gala day.
The club said it moved quickly to notify police, adding: “We are deeply saddened that this domestic dispute was played out in front of many children.”
More charges are likely and police have urged anyone who has more video to contact them immediately.
