Morning school buses cancelled in Windsor and Essex County due to fog

Thick fog in parts of the region has led to school buses being cancelled in Windsor and Essex County for the Wednesday morning commute.

Transportation officials issued an alert just before 6 a.m., saying service in the city and county were called off.

However, transportation is expected to resume in the afternoon, they said.

There have been multiple school bus cancellations in the county earlier this fall.

As of 6:10 a.m., there were no cancellations for school buses in Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton.
