Shocking CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment two thieves used welding equipment to break into a business to steal three dirt bikes.

Officers say two men broke into the business on Gateway Drive in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast and stole three motorbikes at 3:30am on April 3.

Footage shows two men in balaclavas loitering outside the business before one begins to use welding equipment.

bright sparks can be seen flying from the building as the crooks gain access to the building.

The pair can then be seen wandering through the store before choosing the three bikes to take.

The bikes stolen were a 2018 KTM500 worth $14,695, a 2022 KTM500 worth $18,419 and a 2020 KTM250 worth $12,235.

They then loaded the trail bikes onto a distinctive trailer with a large “equipment box” on the front.

The vehicle used is a black 2009 Ford Ranger dual cab with a tray back and large toolbox

The three bikes stolen are a 2018 KTM500, a 2022 KTM500 and a 2020 KTM250.
The three bikes stolen were worth a combined $45,349.

The trailer used was also stolen, with the distinctive red and blue vehicle with Queensland registration FI3275 allegedly taken from Pine Ridge Road at Biggera Waters sometime between March 31 and April 3.

The trailer remains outstanding and is a custom-built trailer, blue and red in colour with a large box on the front.

Detectives urge anyone who recognises the men, ute or trailer to contact police.
