Mom has hilarious reaction when son invites her to special ‘mom day’ lunch: ‘You serious?’
This TikToker invited his mom to lunch and her reaction was outrageously adorable!
Mason (@masf122) is a TikToker who decided to surprise his mom with a lunch invitation recently, but couldn’t have anticipated her hilarious reaction! In a viral video that racked up more than 7 million views, Mason records his mom going from skepticism to overwhelming excitement when he invites her out for the day!
The video begins with Mason walking into his mom’s kitchen on a Saturday morning to find her standing at the sink washing dishes. “Mom, what’s your plans today?” Mason asks.
“What do you mean, ‘What’s my plans?’” Mason’s mom asks, sounding skeptical and a little bit cranky.
“What are you doing today?” Mason asks.
Mason’s mom sighs as she continues washing the dishes. “Well, it’s Saturday morning and I’m cleaning the house, Mason,” she says in a frustrated tone. “Doing the laundry, doing everything I do on Saturday.”
“Well, not today you’re not,” Mason says.
“Why in the hell am I not doing it today?” Mason’s mom asks. “I do it every Saturday morning.”
“Because I’m taking you out and it’s gonna be a mom day and I’m treating you to lunch,” Mason replies.
Hearing this, Mason’s mom stops cleaning and stares at her son incredulously. Then she breaks into a grin. “You buying?” she asks.
“Yeah!” says Mason.
Mason’s mom hops up and down in excitement and screams. “Oh hell yeah,” she says, clapping her hands. “You serious? I’m gonna do myself up nice.”
“Just be quick,” Mason says.
At this, Mason’s mom’s mood shifts abruptly. She scowls at her son. “Mason, you can’t rush me,” she says. “Don’t ruin the moment.”
“I’m not going to time you, just hurry,” Mason says.
Mason’s mom’s excitement returns and she hurries out of the room to get ready for her lunch date!
