The viral clip begins with footage of a distraught Rodriguez addressing the camera in the front seat of her car.

Through tears, she explained that upon arriving at the gym, “the lady at the front desk said that they have a policy where you’re not allowed to wear sports bras,” and that basically, “you can’t be showing your belly.”

“For reference, this is my shirt,” Rodriguez noted, showing her basic black sports bra, which barely reveals an inch of her torso.

“She said, ‘It’s fine for this time, but just so you know for next time,’” Rodriguez continued. “So I was like, ‘Okay, that’s fine,’ and I went to do my workout.”

Rodriguez then explains that 15 minutes into her workout, the gym’s program coordinator approached her and asked her to leave.

“I’m so embarrassed!” Rodriguez said before breaking down into sobs.

The emotional clip struck a chord with viewers, who were quick to offer comfort and support in addition to naming the gym, as reported in the Daily Mail.

“Time for a new gym [honey.] I’m so sorry that happened to you,” one user commented.

“I hear you. You’re valid. And I’m so sorry soul sister, this is wrong,” assured another viewer.

“Oh, honey, do not be embarrassed. I would name and shame them. Don’t cry, just remember [you’re] beautiful and strong,” one person said.
