Model posts chilling video before being murdered

This chilling footage shows a popular influencer saying that "death is the reality of life" just two days before her ex-boyfriend shot her in the head.

Chantal Jimenez, 25, was reportedly murdered in the city of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic on Saturday, April 8.

She was killed just days after her ex-boyfriend Yensy Graciano, 35, allegedly tried to murder her a first time last Wednesday (April 5).

Graciano had allegedly pointed his gun at Chantal while they were in his vehicle and pulled the trigger, but the shot missed and she got out and ran away.

The young woman then took to social media to talk to her army of TikTok followers about death. Her video can be seen with the caption "La muerte es la realidad de la vida" ("death is the reality of life").

Chantal was also reportedly raped by Graciano and she had taken out a restraining order against her ex but this did not stop him from later murdering her, according to local media.

The killing happened when the 25-year-old influencer was shot by Graciano in the head after he opened fire a number of times before turning the gun on himself.

Just hours before, he had reportedly posted on his Instagram account: "Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation."

Chantal was buried on Monday, with photos appearing online showing emotional family and friends at her graveside.

At the time of her death, Chantal reportedly had about 45,000 followers on Instagram, but this has now increased to over 103,000 followers.

Netizens have been leaving messages of condolences on her profile, saying that she was "wonderful" and mourning her death.
