Aussie woman's concerning video just days before vanishing

A young Queensland woman who's been missing for over a week shared a haunting video on social media not long before her disappearance.

A thorough land and air search commenced on Saturday for 19-year-old Tea Wright-Finger who was last seen in Richmond — almost 500km west of Townsville — on October 16 when she was dropped at her blue Toyota Prado 4WD by a friend.

The teen, who works on a cattle farm, shared a video on TikTok less than two weeks before vanishing. The clip has since been inundated with messages from worried friends.

"I don’t feel so good, I want to go home," the caption reads and features pictures of her and snapshots of a rural outback property.

"Tea please go home, you're so loved and missed," one person wrote on the video.

"Please let someone know you're safe Tèa, I'm worried about you and so is your mum and your old high school friends," wrote another.

Even some who don't appear to know her personally wished her a safe return as her community rallies around her family.

Worried mum's desperate search for daughter

The 19-year-old's worried mother Tracy Wright has shared a series of updates on Facebook as she desperately continues the search for her daughter.

"The community of Richmond have been absolutely wonderful," she wrote on Monday.

"The search plane was also up looking yesterday and again today."

On Saturday, Ms Wright revealed that police tracked her daughter's phone. Queensland Police confirmed it was switched on "very briefly" around 9.30am on Tuesday.

They tracked it to the Flinders River area close to the Richmond township which is where they are focusing their search efforts, a police spokesperson confirmed on Monday.

Ms Wright confirmed that on Wednesday – the day after police tracked her daughter's phone – it began going to message bank.

In an earlier post, the panicked mother revealed that the teen has not accessed her bank account since the last day she was seen.

"I would like to thank everyone for their support and words of comfort," she wrote on Facebook.

Queensland Police said Ms Wright-Finger’s family hold concerns for her safety and wellbeing.

Anyone who has seen the 19-year-old or the Toyota Prado, which she is believed to have been driving at the time, is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers (1800 333 000) immediately.

Ms Wright-Finger is described as being caucasian, roughly 180cms tall with a medium build and blondish/light brown hair.
