Man arrested after woman found dead in garage
A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a garage in southwest Sydney.
Emergency services were called to a home in Minto about 4am on Sunday after the body was found by a friend of the family, NSW Police say.
A man, 49, believed to be the woman's husband was arrested at the scene.
Two children, aged six and 10, were found asleep and unharmed in the home.
A NSW Police spokesman told Yahoo News the man was treated for a minor hand injury.
Neighbour Bronwyn O’Keefe told Nine News she was shocked upon hearing of the woman’s death.
“You’d never expect that at all because they were such nice people,” Ms O’Keefe told Nine News.
