Like many Americans, we can't get enough of Michelle Obama. From her inspiring speeches as First Lady to her Netflix documentary, Becoming, Obama always has the right words to say to make us feel powerful and informed. Fortunately, there's now an easy way to hear a whole lot more from her. On July 29, the author and lawyer launched The Michelle Obama Podcast, a new audio show on Spotify.

According to its description, the podcast features the former First Lady in conversations with loved ones and colleagues about the "relationships in our lives that make us who we are." The first episode features Obama in a conversation with her husband, former President Barack Obama. They discuss everything from their upbringings and early careers to our responsibilities to our communities and our country.

"My hope is that this series can be a place to explore meaningful topics together and sort through so many of the questions we're all trying to answer in our own lives," she said in a statement. "Perhaps most of all, I hope this podcast will help listeners open up new conversations — and hard conversations — with the people who matter most to them. That's how we can build more understanding and empathy for one another."

Other guests throughout the first season include women's health expert Dr. Sharon Malone, journalist Michele Norris, former Obama aide and friend Valerie Jarrett, television host Conan O’Brien, Mrs. Obama's brother, Craig Robinson, and her mother, Marian Robinson.
