An investigation has been launched after two men threatened to kill a woman during a vile religiously-motivated hate crime on the London Underground.

The men accosted the passenger after she boarded the Victoria Line train at Finsbury Park about 1pm on Tuesday, February 21.

They subjected her to religious abuse which included threats to kill before leaving the train at Kings Cross station.

The British Transport Police (BTP) has released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the investigation.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016. In both cases quote reference number 316 of 21/02/23. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
