Peter Andre has been teasing for what seems like an eternity that he has been working on a number of acting projects and at last one of them is out there.

Horror-comedy Members Club had its premiere at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest in August and is set to be released on digital download from October 21.

Written and Directed by Marc Coleman, the flick also stars Dean Kilbey, Perry Benson, Barbara Smith, Juliet Cowan, Mark Monero, Steve Oram ,David Schaal, Alan Ford and Liam Noble.

The action follows Wet Dreams, a middle aged male stripper group who after a disastrous accidental booking at a 12-year-old’s birthday party(!) take one last gig at a working men's club in rural Essex only to discover they are to become sacrifices in a plot to raise a murderous 16th century witch from the dead.

While Mysterious Girl singer Andre, 51, is well known for flashing his six-pack back in the day, sad news for fans, he does not play one of the strippers.

Instead, he pops up after almost an hour in a blink-and-you’ll-miss him role as Adonis, an apparent conman who claims he was once mistaken for “Greece’s number one top gangster”.

Sporting a dodgy wig and using a questionable accent, Andre clearly has fun with the limited material that he is given.

But that was far from the strangest thing about Members Club.

After the witch is resurrected, it becomes clear why the male strippers were hired - she’s after their genitalia to complete her spell and the ways she goes about getting them is not for the faint-hearted.

There’s also a cut out possessed tongue roaming around, a murderous one-eyed amateur darts player and a talking cheese pineapple hedgehog because, why not?

The opening shot of Members Club features a road sign which reads “No Dogging”, which gives a good indication as to what you’re getting yourself into for the next 90 minutes. If you’re only watching it for Andre you’ll be disappointed, otherwise, it’s a crudely amusing adult alternative for Halloween.
