Melbourne police car written off after colliding with tram in CBD

A police car and tram have crashed causing chaos in Melbourne’s CBD Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Flinders Street and Spencer Street on Tuesday about 12.35pm.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman told Yahoo News Australia no one was injured.

“The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing,” she said.

The crash caused delays to Melbourne’s tram network disrupting the Route 70 and 75 services.

Some delays are expected into the evening.
