Family's fears for missing 14-year-old girl last seen six weeks ago
Police fear for the safety of a missing 14-year-old girl Portia Tobin who last seen in Melbourne's CBD six weeks ago.
The teen, from Williamstown – west of the city, was last seen on Lonsdale Street on March 8, but there had been several unconfirmed sightings of her around the Laverton area, Victoria Police say.
Family members also hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and the length of time she has been missing.
Police have released images in the hope someone recognises Portia and can provide information about her whereabouts.
The 14-year-old is described to be about 168cm tall with a thin build, straight shoulder-length brown/blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.
Since she was last seen on March 8, police believed the girl may have been spotted on March 26 wearing jeans and red/maroon top.
