Meghan Markle couldn’t hide her excitement at receiving a rather unusual gift from a royal fan at Bondi Beach this morning.
Thousands of fans had gathered along Bondi Beach to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who visited the iconic Sydney location on day four of their royal tour.
While meeting some of the locals, trying to shake hands and talk to as many as possible, one fan decided to give Meghan a bunch of a very different sort.
“Oh my goodness,” was Meghan’s reaction as a yet unidentified fan handed her a bunch of carrots.
“Thank you so much,” she said in a video filmed by Sydney local Molly, which was then shared on Twitter.

The Duchess was so excited about the gift she even got Harry’s attention to show him.
“Hon, we got some veggies,” she can be heard saying.
“Fantastic,” was Harry’s response.
Hermione and Bridget were two lucky locals that got to meet the royals, having waited at Bondi since 6am this morning.
“We just met them it was absolutely unreal, I was lucky enough to get a handshake from Meghan and I even got a picture of that to keep as a memory,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
Prince Harry and Meghan arrived at Bondi Beach early this morning on day four of their royal tour on a gloomy day in Sydney.
But that didn’t stop them getting comfortable and taking their shoes off on the sand.
