MCKENZIE COAN: I'm a four time medalist. I've had the opportunity to compete in two Paralympic Games. I went to London in 2012 and Rio in 2016, where I won three golds and a silver. I'm actually currently out at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

When the pandemic obviously really ramped up last year, I went back to my hometown, this teeny tiny town in the middle of Georgia. I went to my parents and I literally asked them, can I get this 8-foot tethered swimming pool and can I put it in your garage? And there was a moment of just dead silence from them, like staring at them.

And I remember my dad goes, are you serious? And I was like, yeah. No, I found it online. They have like one left in stock. And they were like, let's do it, let's go. So they let me put an 8-foot tethered pool in their garage, and I swam in that for about five months.

And I'm really excited for the next few months. And I can't wait to represent Team USA again.
