It’s no secret that most of us love a festive tipple - and while Bailey’s or sherry may be the most traditional choice, in September 2019 Marks & Spencer created a new, highly coveted contender: Snow Globe Gin.
Shoppers cleared the shelves of stock in record time - in fact, demand was so high that M&S had to ration the numbers customers could buy.
What’s so special about it, you ask?
Each gin comes in a light-up snow globe, which is infused with edible 23-carat gold leaf, so when the bottle is gently shaken, it creates a shimmering, Christmassy snow globe. The perfect wow-factor for Christmas drinks or gift for a loved one.
For 2021, M&S has bought back the gin in two festive flavours, Clementine and Spiced Sugar Plum, the new light-up bottle designs inspired by The Nutcracker ballet.
Plus, that's not all.
The retailer also recently revealed it's now also available in a huge magnum version, calling it the "ultimate Christmas gift".
The new magnum is Blood Orange flavour and comes in a magical light up and musical snow globe bottle, which is now available in M&S stores, but we're sure it won't be for long.
Luckily, M&S has made it easier to get your hands on the must-have festive drink this year.
While the gin has primarily been available in store in previous years, many gift sets featuring the gin are now available to purchase online.
Now, you can pre-order your Snow Globe Gin flavour of choice, along with a bottle of M&S’ Christmas Limited Edition Conte Priuli Oro Prosecco for £45. Or buy the Snow Globe Gin Liqueur Christmas Crackers Gift Set for Christmas Day.
M&S have also now given customers the option to bulk buy their favourite festive gin.
You can now purchase a case of six Snow Globe Gins, which contains three of each flavour - so if you want to make gift giving easy this Christmas, we’d stock up now.
