Man's shocking selfie as victims lay dying in pools of blood

A group of bystanders who witnessed a road accident in India have been condemned by police, after taking selfies in front of the dying victims instead of trying to help.

The three victims were riding a motorbike when a school bus struck them in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

A video shared to social media shows the men lying in a pool of blood as a crowd of people surrounds them.

Even as one man writhes on the ground in pain and begs for help, the group continues to watch on, some recording the scene on their phones.

The mangled wreckage of the bike lies several metres away from the bodies.

According to India News, all three of the victims died at the scene. The men were reportedly labourers at a concrete factory.

India accounts for more selfie-related deaths in the world compares to any other country, according to a study published in the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction.
