A man who put his microwave up for sale got way more attention for his ad than he bargained for – unless of course it was all a sneaky ploy for exactly that.
His advert posted on Facebook has had thousands of shares after the photo included a full-frontal nude of himself.
The bizarrely awkward photo shows him sitting on the floor while snapping a picture of the home appliance he wants to sell.
“Brand-new microwave, appliance cabinet size, never used. Pickup or meet-up both possible,” the caption read.
Posted on to a private Facebook group in Taiwan, the advertisement selling the appliance for 2,800 TWD (AU$125) seemed completely normal and harmless at first.
But on closer inspection, interested buyers began noticing the reflection in the microwave’s glass door.
And it showed the man seemingly completely naked.
Social media users immediately began sharing the picture far and wide until it was finally noticed by the original user.
“I suddenly feel the need to buy a microwave,” one person commented.
“That’s one clean microwave door,” another said.
The man’s awkward blunder has since made headlines in Taiwan as well, despite the fact no one has been able to definitively prove the man was actually in the nude.
