A 23-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in the front yard of a house in Sydney’s southwest.
A 30-year-old man was taken to Liverpool Hospital with several puncture wounds and a partially severed right ear after the incident in front of a Macquarie Fields property about 6.30pm on Tuesday.
“The younger man fled the scene after the older man received stab wounds to his face and back,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Police attended a home in Maple Place and arrested the younger man following a struggle.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and resist arrest.
He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.
More to come.
