A man's body has been found at a popular Darwin beach.
The partially-clothed body was found lying on the sand at Casuarina Beach by a man walking his dog about 6.45am on Thursday.
The man is believed to be aged in his mid to late thirties, Northern Territory police said.
A crime scene was set up near the Darwin Surf Life Saving Club.
Detectives are working to establish the man's identity and the circumstances leading to his death.
Forensic officers used a drone to document the body's location and the scene.
"The death does not appear to be suspicious at this stage," Detective Senior Sergeant Sonia Kennon said.
The beach in Darwin's northern suburbs is a busy recreation spot, where people regularly take walks and jog.
