Manhunt after Geelong pot crop house fire

Police are searching for a man who ran through paddocks with a bleeding hand after a fire in a hydroponic cannabis grow house in Victoria.

Emergency services were called to the house in Armstrong Creek over a fire sparked by an electrical fault, about 7.30am last Friday, and quickly discovered the illegal crop.

Police tried to speak to a man walking nearby, but he ran into paddocks and it is believed he then caught a taxi from North Geelong to Derrimut.
