Manchester United‘s best hopes of silverware this season may rest on the competition they won three years ago, with their Europa League journey continuing on Thursday.

The first leg ended 1-1 in Belgium a week ago, with Club Brugge taking the lead before United’s equaliser soon after – both goals coming courtesy of defensive errors of judgement.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team beat Watford at the weekend, while Club Brugge saw off domestic rivals Sporting Charleroi to make it 14 matches without defeat.

A spot in the last 16 is at stake and the winners should join the likes of Wolves, Basel and Sporting CP in the next round.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match:

When is it and what time is kick-off?

The match starts at 8pm on Thursday 27

What TV channel is it on?

As with all UEFA competitions this season, BT Sport have the rights. The game will be broadcast on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport Ultimate.

What is the team news?

Man United: Key duo Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford remain sidelined through injury. Axel Tuanzebe is a doubt. Solskjaer may opt to make changes again, as he did for the first leg, with Scott McTominay hoping for a recall after injury.

Club Brugge: Eder Balanta is suspended after his yellow card in the first leg. Kreptin Diatta is the only likely absentee through injury.

Predicted line-ups:

Man United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Williams, Fred, McTominay, Greenwood, Fernandes, Mata, Martial

Club Brugge: Mignolet, Mata, Mechele, Deli, Kossounou, Vormer, Rits, Cuyper, Tau, Dennis, Vanaken

Prediction:

United should be confident after recent domestic wins over Chelsea and Watford and, even if Solskjaer changes the team around, they will have too much off the bench for Brugge to cope with.
