Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Old Trafford to meet Manchester United this afternoon.

The Gunners have lost their last two in a row in the league, against Man City and Leicester, but did earn a confidence-boosting win over Dundalk in the Europa League in midweek.

United had an even better result in Europe as they hammered RB Leipzig 5-0 in the Champions League thanks in large part to Marcus Rashford’s hat-trick as a substitute.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping his men can bring that attacking prowess into this clash, having watched them labour in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea last weekend.

The Gunners boss did, however, have the luxury of resting several of his star men in midweek, with the likes of Thomas Partey, Gabriel, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette all unused against Dundalk.

Solskjaer also shuffled his pack in midweek and Rashford is sure to start after his heroics but Alex Telles will be missing after testing positive for coronavirus.

Prediction: Man United 2-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have lacked creativity in recent weeks and that combined with a weakened defence suggests they could struggle here.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

The two sides last met on New Year’s Day, when the Gunners ran out 2-0 winners at the Emirates.

However, the Gunners have not won at Old Trafford in the league since 2006.
