Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recalled captain Harry Maguire to his starting XI for today's meeting with Chelsea.

Maguire missed the midweek away win over Paris Saint-Germain but scored in the 4-1 thumping of Newcastle last weekend.

In his absence, Axel Tuanzebe excelled in a back three alongside Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, but Solskjaer has now reverted back to the same starting team that cruised to victory at St James' Park.

Edinson Cavani is included on the bench and could make his debut this evening, but fellow new arrival Alex Telles misses out altogether.

With Anthony Martial suspended, Solskjaer will be relieved to have both Cavani and Mason Greenwood available as attacking options, with both men among the substitutes.

Fred and Scott McTominay started in midfield in Paris and both keep their places here despite Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek pushing for inclusions.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Mata, Bruno Fernandes, James, Rashford

Subs: Pogba, Cavani, Greenwood, Henderson, Matic, van de Beek, Tuanzebe
