Teen rescued at Victorian nature reserve

A teenage boy has been rescued after becoming wedged between rocks at a nature reserve in regional Victoria.

It took an hour to free the youth, who became stuck as he tried to get into the Britannia Creek Cave near the Yarra Ranges about 12pm on Tuesday, rescuers said.

Ambulance Victoria said the teen was assessed but not taken to hospital after the incident.

The caves are a tourist attraction where people can walk between water-carved labyrinths.
