Man stabbed in arm at Sydney school

A man has been stabbed at an inner-Sydney school.

Police were called to a school on Forbes Street, Woolloomooloo, following reports a 61-year-old man had been stabbed in the arm.

He was treated at the scene by staff before paramedics took him to St Vincent's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old man was arrested nearby and is being questioned at Surry Hills Police Station.

Police say no students were present at the time of the attack and there is no ongoing risk to the community.
