Man shot while walking in city alleyway
A man has been taken to hospital after he was shot in Wolverhampton.
The victim was walking on Minerva Lane at 23:00 BST on Wednesday when he was attacked.
The 44-year-old was treated for a gunshot wound, which was not believed to be serious, West Midlands Police said.
The force has launched an investigation into the shooting and has asked any witnesses to come forward.
Police have appealed for anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage to get in touch.
