Man shoots at teenage couple in rural NSW

A man has been charged after allegedly shooting at a pair of teenagers who were staying on his property in rural NSW.

Police say the 28-year-old got involved in an argument with the 19-year-old couple at Whiteman Creek, near Grafton, on Saturday morning.

He fired a gun at them as they packed their belongings after telling them to leave, police said.

He fired a second shot into the air as the pair quickly drove off.

Officers later arrested and charged the man with using an unauthorised firearm. They also seized five guns, bullets and a small amount of cannabis.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Grafton Local Court on May 7.
