Man shocked by 'disgusting' name written on restaurant receipt

A customer at a pizza restaurant has been left shocked after noticing an offensive name written on his receipt.

Jason Charboneau, from the US state of Michigan, was dining in a Jets Pizza restaurant in Hamtramck with colleagues when he noticed a waitress had written “white trash” instead of his name on the receipt.

A shocked Mr Charboneau posted the picture of the receipt on Facebook and said it was “bulls***” and “corporate will hear about this”.

Many shared his outrage with one saying it was “disgusting”.

“Wow! Horrible!! It’s kinda funny though because [they] were stupid enough to give you the receipt,” one commented.

A man shared the picture of the receipt on Jet’s Pizza’s Facebook page, slamming the franchise for the employee’s behaviour.

“Never assume that name-calling or bullying won’t be called out, especially in the digital age,” he wrote.

Jet’s Pizza said as soon as it found out about the incident earlier this week the customer was contacted and told it was a violation of service standards.

“We, as a company, do not tolerate this type of behaviour in our stores,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.

“We have since made suggestions to managers of this franchise location on how to deal with the employee who caused this regrettable situation.”
