Content warning: The following article contains disturbing descriptions of alleged sexual violence against children.

A man who was 10 years old when he says Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted him still suffers from night terrors nearly 20 years after the alleged abuse, according to a complaint.

The alleged incident occurred in 2005, when the man was a 10-year-old aspiring rapper visiting New York to be introduced to figures in the music industry, according to a complaint filed by the unnamed man who is suing Combs in the Supreme Court of New York County.

The plaintiff claims that he was dropped off at Combs’ hotel room by a consultant hired by his parents, according to the complaint, which was obtained by PEOPLE. The accuser alleges that he was given a soda laced with drugs — possibly GHB — and began to feel “a little funny.”

Combs then allegedly forced the plaintiff to perform oral sex and said something to the effect of “you have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes,” the complaint states.

After losing consciousness, the accuser claims that when he woke up his "anus and buttocks hurt badly" and his "pants were undone.”

The boy told his parents about the abuse when he returned but they were “terrified” of the consequences of reporting it, according to the complaint.

The complaint was filed 19 years after the alleged abuse, but the plaintiff claims the effects have lingered and continue to cause him harm.

“Plaintiff has suffered and continues to suffer from severe depression and anxiety, which leaves him hopeless and fatigued,” the complaint states. “When in situations that remind him of the incident, he feels a strong sense of panic.”

The plaintiff said he was homeschooled following the alleged incident because many of his relationships were affected by subsequent behavioral issues.

“He battles fears and night terrors regularly,” the complaint claims.

The man is being represented by Tony Buzbee, who previously announced he would be representing more than 100 people accusing Combs of misconduct.

Combs, who has now been sued by more than two dozen people and is facing criminal charges, has denied any wrongdoing.

"As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” an attorney for the music mogul said in a statement. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

In September, Combs was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges or sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.
