A man has been charged with murder following the alleged stabbing of a man in a town in NSW's Southern Tablelands.
Emergency services attended a property in Good Hope, 20km south-west of Yass, at around 2.45am on Monday and discovered a 35-year-old man with a serious stab wound. Despite attempts to revive him, he died at the scene.
A second man, also 35, was found nearby with stab wounds and taken to Canberra Hospital under police guard. On Tuesday, the 35-year-old man after being discharged, was taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he was charged with murder. It will be alleged that the two men were known to each other.
The man was refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday.
