Man missing for six weeks after car crash in NSW mountains
Police are searching for a man who went missing six weeks ago after fleeing the scene of a crash in the NSW Blue Mountains.
Daniel Barker, 41, was last seen on May 16 when he was a passenger in a car when it collided with a tree about 11.10pm on Railway Parade in Wentworth Falls.
He was reportedly uninjured and began walking in a westerly direction towards the Wentworth Falls train station.
Police have serious concerns for Mr Barker’s welfare, who they searched for in surrounding bushland following the crash but were unable to locate.
He is described as being caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cm to 170cm tall, with a thin build and greying brown, short, curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a dark blue ‘Ocean Blue’ t-shirt, and black and white Asics sneakers.
Detectives would like to speak with witnesses who may have dashcam footage of the accident.
