A Taiwanese man lay dead in his car for four days after driving off a bridge into a water hole in southeast Queensland.
The 25-year-old man died on Friday after crashing through the metal bridge railing in Boynewood, about 150km west of Hervey Bay.
His car and body were not discovered until Tuesday.
Police believe the man was driving his Mazda 3 along Mundubbera Durong Road about 9pm when he left the roadway and landed in the water below the bridge.
The waterway is surrounded by bushland.
The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate.
