Man crushed to death in Sydney workplace accident
A man has died after being involved in a worksite accident in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to Forrest Road in St Marys at about 5.40am on Wednesday, a NSW Police spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia.
NSW Ambulance deployed a medical specialist team to treat the 30-year-old man who had suffered serious head injuries after becoming trapped in machinery.
Despite immediate treatment, the man died on site.
A Safework NSW spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia the worker sustained crushing injuries.
Police and Safework NSW are investigating.
