Man killed, three in custody after stabbing attack


A man has been stabbed to death in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to Fitzwilliam Street, Parramatta, about 5.05am on Saturday after a man was found with a serious stab wound.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

He died a short time later.

The man is yet to be formally identified but he is believed to be aged in his 20s.

Three men were arrested nearby in Hassall Street and were taken to Parramatta Police Station.

Inquiries are continuing.

No charges have been laid as of yet.
